Avisi was founded back in 2000. The main objective was creating superior quality software in close collaboration with clients.

The goal was to be a different kind of software company. One that aimed for technical excellence while empowering clients with a truly transparent and open process. We also wanted an environment in which innovation and creativity would flourish.

We never wanted to be a big company, we just want to be the best. For us, that started with talented and passionate people, an optimal work environment and the best tools and processes available.

We form small self-sustaining teams of passionate software engineers that, as a unit, are completely dedicated to the quality of their work, the satisfaction of the client and aim for 100% uptime. We also put a lot of energy on training, measuring and reporting so we always keep getting better.

We've invested considerable resources in our testing team and continue to do so - because after all, the best way to measure the quality of what you build is by testing the heck out of it.

Our aim is to automate as much as possible so we use tools like Bromine, Selenium, SoapUI, SauceLabs and a lot of custom stuff. This enables us to very quickly make entire application integrity checks (cross browser/OS) therefore leaving us the time needed to monkey test and to dive into the dark corners of applications.

We update, measure and report on our test scripts, for every release.

The tools we use and built for this purpose (tools like Nagios, Hudson, Wallboard, Sonar, GreenHopper, etc. plus the custom stuff) go a long way in providing our clients with the transparency they expect and they help us stay accountable.

Additionally, they allow us to quickly and efficiently correct the aim when it's needed. You do make mistakes when you build and operate software, the key is finding & fixing them quickly and not repeating them.
