Are you a full-stack Software Engineer with a passion for working with various programming languages and technologies? At Avisi Apps, you’ll have the opportunity to work with top-tier technologies like Terraform, Clojure, HTML, and JavaScript. What you will do.
As a Software Engineer, your main focus will be on development. You’ll be working on our two key ecosystems: monday.com and Atlassian. Our products include apps and integrations for these platforms. Together with our diverse, full-service team, you’ll be involved in the entire product lifecycle: from ideation and development to optimization, maintenance, and market release. A true end-to-end experience!
Your role will include coding, code reviews, front-end and back-end development and refinement. You enjoy collaborating with your team to deliver the best possible product. You’ll also work closely with our UX designers and serve as a sparring partner for various roles within Team Apps. Your approach goes beyond just implementation: you consider the impact of your work and can articulate why and how you tackle challenges, sharing your insights with the team. With your creative thinking, you can interpret a design, with or without a prototype, and determine what needs to be done to optimize it.
Occasionally, customers may need technical support. No problem for you! Alongside your team, you’ll address these issues and find the best solutions.
As a developer, you have a real impact on both the product and the team. Your work truly makes a difference!
Who we are looking for.
You have a passion for working with various technologies and you have a strong drive for continuous learning. Picking up new programming languages or technologies excites you: it’s both a hobby and a profession for you.
You take initiative and can create work for yourself. While you’re capable of working independently, you also thrive in a team environment. You enjoy brainstorming with colleagues from different disciplines and get energy from collaboration. Knowledge sharing is important to us, so show us your portfolio, tell us about your freelance or open-source work, and share which DEV meetups you’ve attended or hosted.
What you bring.
- You already have some experience as a full-stack developer.
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch (both spoken and written) and/or excellent proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Clojure and Terraform, or you at least have the motivation to learn them.
- If you have a portfolio or if you have done freelance or open-source work, or have attended or hosted DEV meetups, we’d love to hear about it!
